I was thinking of using an electric mower clutch for my tiller. I am wondering if it can handle the torqu of a Big Ten. Any ideas?

That is what they use on the AC710 through 718 tractors and the 900 series tractors to drive the front attachments. If they will handle 18+ Hp, I think they can handle 10. These tractors also use a mechanical cone clutch to drive the mid and rear attachments.

Rod, To the best of my knowledge none of the 700, 900, 7000, or 7100 series tractors ever used an electric clutch on either the front, center or rear PTOs.

I didn't think they did either, but the 400's had a standard electric clutch on the front that was used on engines from 10-16HP

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
