A-C 410 modification question

My problem is this - my 410 mows too slow in 2nd gear and too fast in 3rd gear. It has the 4 speed tranny with forward/reverse shuttle. Is it possible to put a larger or smaller pulley somewhere to speed up 2nd or slow down 3rd? Anyone tried this??

Just another thought - you could try changing the rear tire size, especially if you found ones already mounted - it would be easy to make the switch back and forth and you wouldn't have to worry about finding a different drive belt.
