725 Deck

I acquired a 725 with an original Bolt together Deck on the left side there is a plug like the right side... Did they make a Mulch plug for these or is this something someone made???? also I want to sell this deck it needs some or work and I don't have a use for it...

Discharge should be out the L-H side. If it is plugged someone did it on purpose. Don't know if the plug is factory or home made.
