KT-17 engine in a Deutz Allis 917

Replaced the coil and can now get the engine to run at slow idle and not die. However, when I apply 3/4 to full throttle, it will die, just like turning the ingnition to the off position. I have cleaned the fuel tank (last fall) and did not leave any fuel in the tank over this past winter. No kinks in the fuel line. Installed new condenser this spring and different carburetor. I have an in-line fuel filter installed and can see gas flowing when the engine runs, although the filter never is more than 50% full at any time. I know that I may still have a fuel delivery problem but am stumped as to what to do next. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!!!

What kind of fuel filter are you using? I just had a problem with one of my tractors where the filter I used was to restricted for the engine. I'm not familiar with the KT's (yet) but I bet UCD's onto something. I sound like you might need to open up the bowl jet a little more. Not sure, keep putterin'. Let us know. Rob
