I would like to know at what temperature the sensor transfers.

If all else fails put it in a pot of water on the stove with an ohm meter hooked up to it. Then heat the water and watch to see what temp the water is when the meter reads continuity (e.g. the temp switch has closed). Just a suggestion.

This would be great to try, however mine has the connector part off the fitting leaving it useless and would like to get the proper rated switch for replacement.
