I told the other day about my trip to pick up a 4211 that was in foul shape. Update. New front grill ( From a dealer who figured he'd never sell it so got for 20 bucks ) a couple of new/used rear tires, Wheel bearings ( left front axle needs to be replaced but haven't done so yet ) New mower belt and new muffler.. Runs and works like a dream.. Needs mower blades and a little more TLC but I have a machine that will finish out the year mowing for me while I try and decide what to do about the Hydro in my Broadmoor. Tuesday, I bought a 7117 Hydro less an engine and seat. Has hydro lift but have to look to see if there is a rear lift on it.. BRB Yes, there is a rear lift/hitch. It has a 48 inch deck that has some through rust near the discharge shute so I don't expect much from it. So, I'm going to be in the market for an engine. If anyone has a KT or M18-M20 etc you wish to sell, please post here or PM. Keep in mind I don't have a lot to spend.. Thanks

I think there is a 16 Hp one cylinder engine on ebay currently. It is in the site listings a few pages back. Auction should be over in a day or so. If I were you I would at least consider a 16 Hp. I bought a 7116 a couple of weeks ago. Just didn't want some of the problems that come with the two cylinder engines. The one-lungers are much more dependable, and 16 Hp is plenty of power for one of these machines.

Hello glad I got on this site. I hope to upload a couple of photos of my Simplicity Broadmoor
Model 707 Tractor. I have replaced all the belts on it and installed a new ignition switch.
Have a mower deck which was in poor shape , repaced a couple of bushings and welded the
deck where there was some holes. The tractor and mower deck came from a friend and the
mower deck metal was getting pretty thin. Some new metal was put in it and we also undercoated the underside of the deck. This was done by my friend Greg Toulman.
I have not put the mower deck on the tractor yet, waiting for Greg to come home and give me a hand. Can you please tell me if there is a manual for the mower deck and where I could get one.
I would also like to get some moon wheel discs as well.
I will try and down load some photos of the tractor when my wife shows me how to.
I really love driving this tractor and also how well it is made compare today's tractors, especially the flexible rear end and the rollers.
      Tell the next time
      Paul
