Simplicity belt

Replaced the 108505 mower belt on my 4211H and had a fit getting the thing adjusted. A few days later I replaced the blades by lifting the front of the rider and with out thinking that this machine has no deck lift on it. So the deck rollers stayed on the ground as I lifted the front. This allowed the belt to get outside the right front arm that hooks to the rider and it stayed there when the rider was set back down. I did not notice what I had done with the belt and 5 minutes was all it took to ruin it. Not wanting to fight the adjustment again, I checked the length listed for the 108505 70.1 The one sold to me was 68 inches. Has anyone ever had this happen ?

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
