sickle teeth

I am about to start putting the teeth on the bar of my mower. I have 12 new teeth and want to have the rest sharpened. Should I put a pile of loose teeth on the counter at my local sharpening shop or should I rivet them to the bar and put the whole thing on his counter? Or is just running a flat file over the edges enough? The teeth are not chewed up from anything, just a bit rusty.

I should think it's whatever yuor local guy wants, but if it was me I'd just take the side grinder to them. that what we do with the big one (9 foot or more) Rob

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
