Does anybody know if it is possible to create a six speed variable (combining a six speed and a variable drive systems)? I was just curious and if it is possible I maybe would try it.

The six speed uses two belts and the vari uses one thick one - I don't see how it would be possible combining the OEM systems. Nice idea though - how about a hydro with a direct lockup and overdrive? :)
