hking1942 Posted October 11, 2004 Posted October 11, 2004 I am still looking for a 15 spline male to 6 spline male adapter for my 9020 PTO. I tried ebay but could not find one. I also tried all the tractor supply supply places I can find, to no avail. If I had a 15 spline male to fit my tractor I could weld it to the 6 spline on the mower deck. I can't even find a 15 spline male to fit my Simplicity. Is there another way around this problem? There just has to be a solution. Thanks, Harry

JimS Posted October 11, 2004 Posted October 11, 2004 Have you checked to make sure your mower will work with the 2000 RPM PTO speed on the 9020? The 6 spline PTO drives are usually made to operate at 540 RPM. The 15 spline and 6 spline shafts are designed for different speeds so that is why you can't find an adaptor.
