They were produced in 1975-76 under MFG 1690007 usually with 42" mower 1690022 and hitch 1690083 because they housed the larger 10 HP B&S engine (251707 0149-01). It was the last of the compact Broadmoor series with pivoting rear. In 1976 it was also available as the 5010 LTD 50th Anniversary model under MFG 1690118. The 6000-6200 series was the later replacement. I can't say for sure but you could probably swap the rear if you don't mind sheet metal mis-match but why not keep both intact? I think the 5010 is a keeper - especially for $20!

Hi, The 5010 and the 3008 were stretched versions of the Broadmore series and the 5010 came with 10 hp and a 42" mower, [the 3008 with an 8 and 36"]hence the need for the stretch. Be aware that there two 3008s, one a rear engine rider and the other a tractor. My 2 cents worth and its free so value accordingly. Al

Thanks for youalls replies. Why i ask about the transaxle is my 64 broadmoor has reverse lo and hi or 1st and 2nd. the 75 has reverse 1st,2nd 3rd. but looking at it better the wheel tire diamiters are also differant.the 75 needs a engine /no big deal around here.I'll use the 63 (restored) for grass cutting. and rebuild the 75 and pull the deck and use it for the garden,plow/disking.will the 64 deck fit on the 75????. oh well for 20.00 bucks i have a good back up. better than my 1300.00 piece of sh))(*&*( craftsman. thanks for all your help.
