Hi, my name is Steve and I am new here. I recently purchased a 1965 Landlord 101 for my 12 year old son. We are going to restore it together. Is there a supplier for authentic decals? I am service manger at a Simplicity dealership and they are NLA. Can anyone help me? Thanks, Steve

Steve: welcome to the Club! As far as decals go, not to much around. If your originals are good, you may want to tape them up and paint around them(I did).

Welcome to the club Steve. They are avalabe keep looking. I restored a 101 last year and had a great time doing it. I found this web site and got my first tractor all in the same day. The club can help you with any and all question you may have. But working where you do you have a added advantage. I am lucky I have a Simplicity dealer about 10 miles away that has been in business for over 75 years and has almost every part in stock i needed, some that are considered NLA. But i found other members that have parts tractors avalable many times to help hold down my cost. One worrd of advice, these old tractors are a little top heavy and a little narrower wheel base than what you and your son may have been riding. So be carfull on hills and slops. Well lets say 3rd gear full throtle testing out my tractor and going down a small hill and turnig to quicly scared me the first time. And on that same hill with my Chraftsmen it sayed on all four wheels. Again welcome and have fun with your son. Dan H

Make sure you take before, during and after pictures, or if you have a question sometimes a picture helps to explain it better! GOOD LUCK and have FUN!

Last winter when I got my '64 Landlord going I was talking with my daughter about it, and the missing Simplicity decal on one side. Her and her sis were playing around with the idea of making stickers/decals to sell. I sent her a picture of the good one with measurements of the hieght of the letters and overall length. Course they got bussy with other things but I did get a couple decals this summer after I was gone working, if anybody is interested, after I find them in my drop and go house, and figure out this new camera, I'll post a pic of them, and try to get a price outta them. May be helpful on that account if you guys gave me some idea what you'd be willing to pay because they didn't have a clue what they'd want for them.

I hope to start restoring mine ('64 Landlord also) in the spring, and I will definately need the decals, along with the stripes on the hood. I could salvage the "LANDLORD" across the front axle if I had to. Put me down for a set. Thanks!
