Vickers Hydro Problem

Hi, I have a 416H with a vickers hydro. It ran great and I had full power at all speeds. Today I took the shroud off the back and cleaned out the transmission cooler. Everything was back on in an hour. I adjusted the brake and clutch so it would fully disengage. Now, When I go up to a hill I cant climb it at full speed. I have no power at all, and it really works the engine. I don't hear belts slipping, the tension seems good and I havent done anything that should change the way it worked. At about 1/2 speed, I have power. I can't find what is wrong, I have checked everything. Has this happened to anybody else? Any help is appreciated. Thanks,

Check for a kinked hose or something you might have done while cleaning. Also recheck the clutch pedal play, as the unit warmed up it may have stretched the belt a little or may be allowing it to slip. The pedal should have a little play in it before it takes hold of the idler in order for the belt to run tight all the time.

Thanks, That's the problem. I tightened the pedal so it didn't vibrate. Guess that took tension off the belt. You cant adjust them like you can with a sunstrand. I think I'll try to put a sunstrand in it sometime:)

It might have something to do with the linkage, but I like the Vickers hydro better. I get a lot more control out of my HB212 than the 7016 or newer RBT with hydros. Just my opinion, only thing is you can add hydrolic lift on the sundstrand pumps.

I Like the vickers, they're smooth and seem to control better, but I find the sunstrand stand up longer and never give me trouble. You can put hydraulic lift on both, but im not 100% sure how to on a vickers.
