I am thinking of buying a set of 23x10.5 12 Super Lug tires for my B-110. I am considering getting new rims too with them. I have the following questions. Do they deliver good traction. A good place to get them Will they raise the back end of my tractor and effect my tiller set up by it not going as far in the ground. All inquires appreciated.

You a Farm Bureau member? Last I checked you can get them for $35/ea. through Farm Bureau.

Thats what I have on my B-112 and I can pull a 5 foot york style rake full of loose top soil, in loose top soil without slipping a lug. I like there traction and looks. Guess it could affect your tiller depth some because of not sinking in as deep, never really thought about it. Got mine from Cedar Rapid tire 3 years ago I think its been.

I have a set of 23 X 8.5 X 12 on my 2012. I am pleased with them. They work even better since I put the weights on. I've got a set of lugs, don't know if they are the Super Lug, on my Broadmoor. I have no complaints with them, either.

Put the same tires on my AC916H, Carlisle Super Lugs, great traction for plowing/throwing snow. Also use them with a small york rake for lawn intallations. They were fine for mowing unless the ground was soft/soggy. Ordered them online from Cedar Rapid Tires. (In the Link section) I don't know about the tilling question.

All I am afraid of it effecting the tiller depth is it not going down far enough to make it level. I have 10.5 turfs and it tills level, it shouldnt effect it much. I live on fairly sandy land. I was thinking of m.e. Miller Tire, anyone deal with them.

As long as you buy the same size as you have on the tractor now it shouldn't look any different and not affect the tilling.....I see rustybore on ebay has them listed there...He also has the True power lugs listed...anyone have any experiance with the true powers?

As long as it's the same height (23) it shouldn't effect anything. Just give better traction.

I don't know about current prices, but in the 2001 "Antique farm tires and more..." catalog from Miller those Carlisle Super Lugs if 23/1050/12 were from $56 for 2TL Ply and 65 for the 4TL ply each.don't know anything about where to get 'new rims'

If those are the very wide ag's with the small cleat on them, I have a pair on my HB212 and absolutly love them. They were on a B-10 I took in on trade several years ago and fell in love with them. I had 100# case weights on each tire and almost couldn't make them slip. I took the weights off, was afraid of tearing out the diff. on my HB. Got a set of fact. weights to put on it but haven't yet. They look great too.

Thanks, i am going to get some of them, Rustybore on Ebay is selling new rims to fit the tires.

In our Tractor Pull club, the Carlisle Super Lugs are the favorite and most used tires for the classes that are limited to the 23x10.50x12 size. I have a set of Nankang tires on my 61 Wards. If the Carlisle tires are better than those, then they must be awesome. I push snow without chains, and the Nankang tires will dig holes through the snow and into the ground if the blade picks up more snow than the weight of the tractor will push. Most any of these tires are good as long as they are two ply. Some of the four ply and six ply tires are just too stiff to conform to the ground and will cause loss of traction. A friend had a set that were so hard he could run them with no air in them and they still wouldn't mash down flat on the ground. Unless you are running lots of weight on one of these tractors, do not order the four ply tires. Two plys are softer and give better traction. In the 8.50 and smaller sizes a four ply can be used, but in the larger sizes you will lose some traction. As the tire size is increased (10.50 and larger) they become more of a flotation type tire. A flotation tire requires soft sidewalls to function well. Less plys the better.

What will also help the height is to get 8" rims instead of the standerd 6" and they will squat down more and be wider on the ground , I have the wider rims that came on a 314 and love the width on the ground.

Wilm, I am actually running my 23x10.5x12 tires on 12x10.5 rims. Made them myself by widening a set of 6 inch wide rims. As you said, a wide rim makes a tremendous difference in traction.

I like my Deestone lugs If you buy the Carlisle's you should be ok but these foreign tires are smaller then the size they are supposed to be... I ahd to cut quite abit off my new chains to make them fit these Deestone... I like the carlisle's also because they have a little more lug..

I may just use the old rims, they are as wide as the tire, it has 23x10.5-12 turfs on it now and when the grader blade is diggin good it spins, which should stop.

Just put the Carlisles on the standard rims you now have with the 10.50 turfs. They work great. Personally, I think the 8.50's give better traction in snow as they bite in more and float less.

The Carlisle Super lugs are actually a little smaller in diameter than the Goodyear or Carlisle Turf tires that came on your tractor.
