My recently obtained 17GTH-L cleaned up a little better than I expected but It may still need paint.

Seems like the newer Simplicity paint isn't as good as the old stuff. My 3410 polishes pretty good, but even rubbing compound didn't bring back the color on this one.

Looks great. All I can see it needs is a seat cover and some cleats on the rear.

Looks good to me too! You can aways get an old lawn chair for a seat.:)

Look Great I would like to have a newer one some day...

Looks plenty good for a work tractor. Not a show machine, but no significant rust like my 7116H has. I have to repaint mine because of the rust on the hood and fenders. Lots of rust under the paint on mine.

Hey, When can I drop off my Sovereign for a 'Buff & Shine'? (LOL) LOOKS Great! JP

Looks great cleaned up. Was there a bunch of oil residue around the engine? Mine was a real mess there. Good luck with the engine swap.

looks good Chris I think it just needs a seat

Before he sits on it he needs a good power unit. Better pull and inspect that engine. Did it run dry? was it overspeeding? It looks good. I put a K341 in my 7117H and its a horse.

Amazing what a little soap and water will do . Looks good!!

looks like a good work tractor, or if you can't fix the seat with a lawn chair, duck tape will do.

Thanks for the comments guys. Ambler, the engine was run very low on oil, and these KT's have little oil capacity and don't lend well to poor maintenance, so I've heard. As for the engine compartment, it was oily but seems most tractors are that way.
