That shouldn't be any big problem. You need a 2 pulley hitch with the over-center "clutch" linkage. They're on eBay at times. Or place an ad in the classified here.

Thanks dutch. Do you or anybody else have a closeup picture of a blower hooked up to a 725??? I am just getting started with this new hobby and this is my first 725. I don't know all the in and outs like all the other members but I'm eager to learn. Thanks again, hdrhdr.

I'm sure there are photos on the website, but I don't have one. How about an operator & parts manual with plenty of illustrations? http://www.simplicitytechpubs.com/6767PRINT/PDF_files/TP_100_1317_00_AT_S.pdf

Again, thanks for the info dutch. So far no luck. I am not an E-Bay person (not enough time in the day to do it). I have placed an ad in the wanted section and posted a message on the boards. I will pay a $20.00 finders fee for any member(that is "member only", I'm a beleiver in loyalty) that can find the parts you have mentioned above or a complete unit (blower, hitch and pulleys) for a reasonable price. So far if have found a blower for $100. The pulleys can't be much more. I have a 725 with a (not original) 10hp B&S motor. hdrhdr

Since that isn't the correct engine, just make sure the crank sticks out far enough to accept a drive pulley. If it doesn't, don't give up. Do this and use your center PTO. http://www.simpletractors.com/do_it/snowthrower_hitch.htm

Randall You don't have to go searching ebay. I do that, all you have to do is look at the ebay forum here. In response to your PM, the crankshaft must protrude far enough to install a pulley as pictured below (on an OEM engine). Note: The belt fingers (stops) are extremely important. Most info needed will be found in > http://www.simpletractors.com/operation/snow_thrower/single_belt.htm

FYI, the hitch recently listed on eBay was sold and bought by club members > http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=4335723696 Many club members, including myself, prefer to buy and sell on eBay rather than privately or through the club's classifieds.

Glad I stopped by. I just re-built a clutch like this for my B112. Didn't know I needed belt fingers. I'll need to go back and pick up some rod to make it with. As for now the cluch seems to work fine without them.

I did not see this post previously. i didn't realize there was so much interest in this piece. i won this hitch and will use it to mount a blower onto my b10. all i need is the drive pulley. i just set my friend up with a 728 with blower. i purchased the hitch for that off of ebay as well. after seeing how that one runs i just had to get one mounted to my b10. john
