dhardin Posted November 16, 2004 Posted November 16, 2004 Bringing it back from the farm where I welded up the deck the tie downs came loose and the tractor rolled back and almost busted out the back of my trailer. Had to fix that also (see post in show & tell). The left side arbor was only held in with one carriage bolt. The other two where busted away from the rest of the deck big time. See the plate I custum fited over 3 or 4 splits in the bolt area. Also the not so original 3 1/2" pully. After I cut the nuts off the carriage bolts and was using a punch to knockout the bolts, I sliped and the hammer just bumped the cast Iron pulley and it busted. (Riginshackin sasin frackin) oh well, fix that to... All i got in this tractor is a piece of steel, a pully and a belt for the deck. Allso I changed the muffler from the nice stak it had. It looked like a good burn waiting for my grandson. And I have a problem with not enough shead space, if it ever set out the stack/block would be full of water if it rained.
johnmonkey Posted November 17, 2004 Posted November 17, 2004 Nice to hear that the tractor didn't bust out of your trailer. JH
comet66 Posted November 17, 2004 Posted November 17, 2004 I'd call that a good investment. Looks like a worker.
