Snowblower question??????

If I want to use a Snowblower iff the mid mount PTO does it have to be a newer blower with the Bigger pulley or can it be an older one??

I would think if you have the same size pulley on the center pto as was on the front of the tractor, 4 1/2 in, and your center pto driven pulley is the same size as the driver off the BGB you should be good to go.

The Newer tractors (3300/3400/7000/7100 700/900 series tractors RBT's) used the blower with the larger driven pulley to get the correct auger speed. If you use a blower from the FDT's with the small driven pulley you will have to remove the belt guard and replace the pulley with the larger pulley to get the correct auger speed.
