Toad NO!! you have a problem as you are a guest here. When you get done editing your posts and changing them you might consider following a request. We do have rules here and the the members are considerate of others. I should have deleted you original post to begin with as it belonged in the classifides as an ad. If you have a problem with that then when you do become a member you can take it to the officers and membership in the Club business forum.

He just sent me an email. "SORRY ABOUT THAT. HE CAST THE FIRST STONE ON GRAMMATICAL ERRORS. I DIDN'T KNOW HE WAS THE SIMPLE POLICE. TOO BAD HE HAS NOTHING ELSE TO DO WITH HIS LIFE." I think he has alot more to do in life than you do. "They seem to think iot is long overdue"???? What are we talking about here??? Can someone please inform me? Thanks, Bill

TOAD, I think UCD had made a reasonable request. And most members will stand behind him as you made a revision after his request and did not change. All caps is harder to read and considered bad manners on the net. Do not be too quick to dismiss this site because of a small request to change your typing style. How you present yourself on this site is for the most part all we will ever know about you.And you would not be the first one to have a rocky start. With cyber forums it is some times hard tell the intent and just how seriously some replys are meant. Consider this as a learning process and be ready to learn a lot more about the reason you came here in the first place. There is far more here than you realize at the moment. You have paid dues so give it chance. I will pearsonally guarantee your money back if you are not happy in a year.

I asked you politely twice. You are the one that got on a high horse. All caps are harder to read and in forums it is considered yelling/shouting. You can tell your supporters that they can speak out here. Or are they imaginary supporters that can't speak for themselves or the type that like to talk behind someone's back.

When I wish to join in on something already established I look at it awhile and try to learn how the sight or club or whatever is run. Such as how they talk and relate to one another. If you didn't do something like this, then i think you only have yourself to blame if you got caught up in some missunderstanding. As this is all I think is the real situation. I think you will find that Maynard is not the kind to hold this against you, and if you'll just let it go we can all continue on with life. However he does like to mantain a certain level of protacol on this forum and as an administrater, that's his job. I don't care one way or the other, but a shouting contest with Maynard will get you no-where fast here.

Please don't tell me this got started over a simple request to lower caps! If it is, then he is is bound to learn this lesson anywhere else he goes on the web.

In my experience anywhere on the net typing in all caps is considered yelling and is frowned on. Lets use this as a lesson learned and move on. Toad, UCD is one of the best resources there is for questions, problems, and breakdowns about these great tractors. He has helped many with their projects. He is not out of line here. If you stay and keep your membership it will be more than worth the $10.00 the first time you have a problem and someone can help you out. The last time I checked the local small engine shop was charging 46.00 an hour to solve problems.

Maynard, If there every was a Topic that should be moved to the Business Forum...... This is it. Not only is this toad's language inappropriate, but it has nothing to do with tractors.

Dutch, not to get in the middle of any tiff or anything, but I belive the original post was about a tractor cab. Im not quite sure what happend after that I'm trying to figure that out. Perhaps it should have been moved after, but I wonder if it was left for all to read to learn from. We do have quite a few new member now. Elon

Dutch, I,m not so sure it does'nt belong here for awhile. There are a lot of new people, not only to this site but to the web in general. Probably a lot of them are new to computers also.I know that when I first got online there was a lot for me to learn. I found this site within the first few days on the net because they were a passion of mine. I had no idea and was amazed to find that there were so many others with same intrest out there! I followed this thread through this morning and afternoon.Thought for sure that it would have been deleted by UCD this evening.I'm glad he did'nt(that speaks for the character of UCD)and think it may even encourage other non-members to feel they can participate and learn at the same time.Moving this to a non-member viewable area would do nothing to show that we do care about new memberships. But simple protocols need to be followed and all new users/members should take the time to read the sticky's and FAQ,s before posting.

Let me just say that I hope Toad you just let this one go and chalk it up to a lesson learned. UCD puts a tremendous ammount of time in to the club and is well respected by the vast majority of members here. I think if you try to get over this issue you will find that UCD goes over and above to help just about every person here. I hope you continue to frequent the club.

I agree with Mack, Nubian, Tractormike, and D-17 Dave. Give the place a chance and you will reap many benefits. UCD works harder than anyone here and has been an outstanding leader of this forum. JH
