Welcome Pete I bought a rigid pan seat from "Northern Tool" for about $20 plus shipping. Its not original but I like it and it looks similar. As for fixing your seat, I'm pretty sure there are some who have recovered them. If you want to see what the seat looks like I have a picture of my 3212 in my gallery. Good luck Also, It is appreciated when you turn your caps lock off. When typing in all caps its assumed that you are yelling.
