New Landlord Lites Mounted & working

MPH

Recommended Posts

Here's a couple of shots of the new lights I got for the Landlord. Cost 5 bucks more then the rubber ones but I wantted the metal, closer to OEM look. They're made by Truck-lite Inc of Falcorner N.Y. In order to have a mounting bolt with a hole in it I picked up some lamp repair parts.

Not sure I'll being staying with this mount system, whoever did the ones on my 725 had better hardware. If it ever gets off this 30 below kick I'll test it through the woods and make sure they stay put. My lamp repair tubes aren't impressing me.

Marty, they look the same as the ones mounted on my Landlord. They are possibly made by the same company.

Marty, they look very close to originals.. I was looking at the heavy duty ones at tracotr supply, but I think I'll buy these instead! Thanks!

All NAPA carries up here are the rubber ones Ray, Found these in a transmission/gear auto parts store in Fairbanks. Looked for but didn't see any chain store name mentioned around the place. Must be the last mom and pa parts store in Fairbanks.

They do look much nicer than the rubber ones. You can see all their products at www.truck-lite.com but they don't list who carries their products, or sell on-line.

Elon, the first one Maynard linked to is the ones I have Part # 80364. Got 2-3 inches of new snow today, they stayed put just fine, even plowing my walking trail trough the woods. Time will tell if I do a search for building a proper Landlord bracket.

Hmmm... so many nice choices from this place. I'm gonna go with door #1 or door #2, but I'll have to hem and haw about it for awhile..

I e-mailed Truck-Lite (custserv@truck-lite.com) and they gave me the name of a local distributor and also said any NAPA dealer should be able to order Truck-Lite parts.

I also contacted Truck-Lite, they gave me a local distributor and Napa. I checked Napa but there price was about $8 more per light than the other distributor. I ordered mine today from the local distributor, which was "West Michigan Fleet". Thanks for the heads up Marty

Marty, Just my opinion, but.... I was looking at the picture you posted of the mounted lights. You might want to loosen the bezel and rotate the lamp 90 degrees so the beam pattern is correct. Steve

Nice lites Marty, If you you feel the need for the proper landlord mounting bar give me a holler as I have somewhere near a dozen or so already made. I'm not sure how pricey usps is to AK though.........

Thought about doing that Steve but thinking I'd get a taller light pattern this way I left them as was. I may try it just too see which I like better. That is a ridulous price Tom, I only paid 19 dollars ea in Fairbanks Alaska. For 20 bucks each I'll mail you a set and I'd guess you would still have 15 dollars change.
