Electric clutch ???

Will the clutch off of a 20hp sunstar interchange with the clutch off a 416? I think they are both 1/8" shaft and both Kohler engines. The biggest diff. I can find is the 416 clutch is made to mount on the engine like all the older clutchs, the sunstar uses a self contained clutch, but it looks as though it also mounts to the engine. Although it's self contained.

The Sunstar clutch does mount on the engine. Whether or not it will work on the 16 I don't know.
