Went out Christmas shopping today...I found this at a local dealer..They had $100 marked on it but I got him down to $90 with tax..It is missing the rod to turn the blade...otherwise its in good shape...Can anyone give me the length of the rod so I can maybe build one...I have a extra snowblower rod and if I am lucky maybe it will fit just right,LOL..Now I hope this will work on my 3415H seens I have sold all the FDT tractors exept the one with the cab and blower..

Good deal! Now you will just have to get another tractor to put it on. Or put back to gether one of those hidden in the loft of the barn.

The rod is about 48" long, including the end fork. The rod is 7/16" in diameter and has a 4" 90 deg bend at the operator end. There is also a "yoke" piece that connects the rod to the vertical shaft that can be see on your plow pic. It allows the plow to be raised and lowered with the operator end of the rod at a stationary position.

That is the lift rod...This is the 46in. Heavy Duty dozer/snow blade that you can angle the blade from the seat of the tractor...The rod I need is the one that comes back to me to allow me to angle it from the seat...

Kevin, That looks like the blade I saw at Williams Farm Machinery in Charlotte. I spotted it Nov. 2. I was returning from picking up a new 42" blade that I won on e-bay and drove through their lot to see what they had when I spotted it out back by the service door. I inquired if it was for sale and they quoted $100.00. Thought about buying it but at the time I really didn't think I needed 4 blades when I only have 2 tractors. I was thinking about giving them a call and seeing if they still had it, but I'll save the cost of the call now. Glad you picked it up. Steve

Someone gave my neighbor this plow a few months ago. As you can see part of the hitch is broken that's why I asked what the rod is for. Also it's missing it's feet. I doubt very much he will ever use this plow, along with the 2 moldboard plows someone else gave him. I gonna try and convince him to give them to me. Bet they would work great on my 2 FDT's.
