Carb Value?

How much is a brand new carb worth for a 10HP Briggs? I found one for $90. and am wondering if it's worth it.

its worth it-is it for the 243 model briggs. I will buy it for that price.

They are around a $150.00 or so new. So $90.00 would be a good deal.

Thank's for the replies. This was for a 243 Briggs but the way it read it isn't a OEM Briggs carb so I passed on it. It was on E-Bay under Briggs & Stratton. I didn't have time to ask questions to the seller but did read his feedback and there was one negative saying these carbs were junk(?). It will probably be reposted. I didn't tear mine apart yet so I figured I would wait to see what I find on the original before I get a replacement.
