Rear Lift Counter-Weight etc.

Last summer I was out working on the dive charter boat and we were scuba diving on a recently sunken commercial fishing vessel. I was one of the first to dive it and salvaged +/- 100ft of galvanized chain. Since then I've used about 30-40ft making up new anchor chains. Well now I've found a use for the rest of it :D:

It's about 60lbs and makes a great counter-weight and adds more ballast over the rear wheels. And once again kudos to the Classifieds, I recently obtained this rear lift for this 210 from RayS (thanks Ray:)) and Brenda at Sandy Lake sent me the stepped collar I needed for the left lift arm. And lastly, I know you all can relate to this: It's always nice to finish a project at home, no matter how large or small, and be able to say "I just used what I had layin' around" but I know in my case, and I'm sure in many others, that old saying is losing some significance with the amount of Stuff we seem to acquire! :D

I would find a large can and a pipe and make a weight with lead. If you find you need chain at the same time you need the weight, you're not going to want to buy it with the price of steel these days.
