Tom_Byrne 0 Posted January 17, 2005 For the clear plastic, use the round bottom of a plastic peanut butter jar.
Agricola 1 Posted January 18, 2005 I had some plastic from a face guard. I was sending pieces out if you sent me a SASE. I used it on mine and the biggest problem I had was finding a good glue to hold it in place.

Simplicity314 0 Posted January 18, 2005 Bunky: I was going to suggest a fuel-proof epoxy, like JB. make sure sufaces are sqeeky clean. I also hear gorilla glue is supposed to be good stuff, but don't know if it's fuel resistant.

IronPony 3 Posted January 18, 2005 Here you go - try this thread http://www.simpletractors.com/club2/topic.asp?ARCHIVE=true&TOPIC_ID=13818&SearchTerms=gas+cap Sorry, you will have to cut and paste on your browser line. I don't know how to post a live address. Try a search using "fuel gauge" or what I used was gas penut. Dan
rsachs 0 Posted January 18, 2005 Bunky when I repaired mine with the bottom of a peanut butter jar I didnot glue it at all. Just cut it slightly oversized and it snapped into the groove in the cap. Has not been a problem yet.
