oldone 0 Posted January 18, 2005 I think that my Old LandLord just loves this snow pushing thing! I have chains and rear weights on it,but need something on the front end so it will steer a little better. might have to try a set of tri ribs. John
MDB 134 Posted January 18, 2005 Looks like she is having a fine ol time there John :D That is a very fine looking ride there and it even looks better in person8D
D-17_Dave 12 Posted January 18, 2005 Who said a pretty tractor can't earn it's keep?! Look'in good from here.
HubbardRA 19 Posted January 18, 2005 You're gonna scratch up that beautiful paint job by playing in the snow. My boys thought I was crazy when I put the deck under my 713S and started mowing my lawn with it. They thought it was a show tractor and fixed up too nice to work. I told them that they could help get the others looking as good. This is the point when they disappeared.
Jason 0 Posted January 18, 2005 Hi Great looking Landlord you got there. I really like the paint job on it. Just because it is a restored tractor does not mean it should not be used. A few local farmers in my area still use fully restored vintage tractors on their farms. Take Care Jason B
Boney 0 Posted January 18, 2005 WOWSA That is one of the nicer looking tractors I have seen. Please tell me the color of the red paint

comet66 0 Posted January 18, 2005 Man, that's one sweet looking tractor!!! Almost a shame to hang that blade on her and put her to work.
Bunky 3 Posted January 18, 2005 Nice looking Tractor That's why I Don't paint mine all up I wouldn't want to work them looking like that..

Chris727 1,933 Posted January 18, 2005 Nice Machine! I like the chrome lift handle. Did you get the original seat recovered?
oldone 0 Posted January 18, 2005 Chris, I recovered the seat my self, not the best job but the first I have done. The paint looks red in the picture, but its Auto Master equipment & implement enamel 6455G AC orange. I have spent a lot of time and money on this, and now it has to earn its keep. what good would it be just sitting around. I have been thinking about putting a hydro on it, but spent to much getting the lift handle chromed. But maybe I could use it on something else. John
rs07 25 Posted January 18, 2005 Are you sure it's old?:D Looks like brand new to me! What a beautiful restoration!
clyde 0 Posted January 19, 2005 Every year I'm amazed at how my 64 Landlord will push snow. Unfortunetly mine isn't nearly as pretty as John's - like Mike said, it looks good in the picture but you ought to see it in person!

Guest Posted January 19, 2005 John, a beautiful machine. I've got one of these I'd like to restore like that! Tom_Byrne 0 Posted January 20, 2005 I can remember my wife and I looking at your tractor at GOTO John. She told me if I owned this tractor I would NEVER plow it, and I had to admit she is right! It's a great resoration, but you are right with the bottom line: they have to earn thier keep. And the old Landlords ARE a lot of fun to plow with!
HubbardRA 19 Posted January 20, 2005 Man, that would be a real "show stopper" if that snowplow were chromed.
oldone 0 Posted January 20, 2005 Do you think the snow will stick to, it if was chromed?
