HubbardRA 19 Posted January 20, 2005 oots, Where did you come up with that electric-hydraulic pump. Was it from some junk, or did you buy it new. If new, then how much does one cost?

oots 0 Posted January 20, 2005 Well rod i got a whole convertable top cyclinders and pump from a local junk yard, for $50.00. I didnt use the cyclinders they have plastic mounts, I used the cyclinder from a hydraulic wheel chair lift system.

HubbardRA 19 Posted January 20, 2005 Wendell, What kind of hoses did you use? Those don't look like the usual hydraulic hoses.
oots 0 Posted January 21, 2005 Rod thos are the hoses that came with the pump. I bought adapters to fit the cyclinder.

oots 0 Posted January 28, 2005 Well im done with my lift and wheels project, Thinking of converting my 42in mowing deck into a pull behind mower, all i need is some swivel wheels and a gas motor mounted on the deck.
D-17_Dave 12 Posted April 1, 2005 Wendell, take a look at the pics from this past years GOTO. That should give you some ideas on several pull style mowers.
JoeJ 0 Posted April 2, 2005 Rod, It looks like wire protector loom over the hoses. I think. Go through this thread and look at the job the fella did on his HYD lines with steel tube!! If asked before I would of thought you couldn't do it with single flair fittings. But dang he sure did one fine job. HubbardRA 19 Posted April 4, 2005 Joe, I have seen single flare connections used when double flares were called out. Only problem is that the double flair is more leak resistant and easier to seal than the single flare, especially for higher pressures. Not supposed to say this, but I know of people doing single flare on auto brake lines. Even saw some made from brass instead of steel. Not very safe.
