BLT 717 Posted January 23, 2005 Single stage blower will be better in wet snow but not much. You need to attack the snow real slow.
UCD 14 Posted January 23, 2005 In the heavy wet snow keep engine speed high with steady ground speed to keep snow in chute. To slow and chute will plug to fast and it will plug. It is a learning process.
comet66 0 Posted January 23, 2005 Like stated above, keep a steady feed, I've had it coming out of the chute looking like a milk shake.
bigcountry 0 Posted January 23, 2005 How deep should you stop using a blade and start using a blower?
D-17_Dave 12 Posted January 23, 2005 I think it comes down to how far do you need to push it to clear it from your path. After a while you wold run out of tractor to push it or room to pile it so blowing is the option to displace it away from your pathway. As for moveing the wet stuff, I posted in the other forum some pics of really wet stuff. Hope this helps.
