Eli 0 Posted January 23, 2005 This morning, my dad and I were cleaning up last nights mess, he was manning the tractors while I was the camera guy. In this picture you see my dad going in strong with a snowblower and a new cab (because the wind would sting). My dad is still going in blowing snow with the Simplicity in a nice cab while I was growing numb in the wind. Here is another view of my dad blowing snow from the neighbor's walkways. In this area of the walkway where most of the snow drifted to, my dad and the snowblower got some serious action. After finishing, my dad retreated to the barn to park our Simplicity and return to the snug indoors.
Kent 435 Posted January 23, 2005 So, a little cold won't hurt you... Meanwhile you're getting lots of practice with the camera. I really like these two pictures that you took a little over a week ago (the 14th) while I was out of town. Next we'll have to get you some practice with the snowblower -- but I'll need to put the hydraulic lift on it first, or you'll never be able to lift it... :D Here's his picture of the "pud muddle" across the street when we got a big warm rain that melted our largest snow that'd we'd had prior to this one. I like the reflection of our house in the puddle... A different view, looking at the reflection of the neighbor's (club member trawnik) house...
D-17_Dave 12 Posted January 23, 2005 Still some great pics Eli. Remember, practice makes perfect. Working or playing out in that stuff makes you appreceate things like a good tractor and a nice tight cab when you get older. lol Remember, Dad's lead by example, and you've got a great example there with you. As for nobody. No way I'll buy that nonsense. He couldn't look that good if you weren't there takeing those great pics. So where would he be without you? Great job. Eli 0 Posted January 23, 2005 Thanks,I started to realize that I'm getting better and my pictures say it. Taking pictures out in a day like today was harsh, when I came back inside 3 of my fingers were numb. Though I did have little intervals between some pictures because the camera's batteries died so I had to go inside and replace them.

Eli 0 Posted January 23, 2005 Trust me, its fine I was actually looking at my topic while you were here and hoping that you posted because I am trying to get 15 posts (this might be the first time I had 15 posts on my own topic). That was the largest that I have ever seen the puddle because it usually makes a "pud muddle" every time we get hit with a big storm or a a lot of snow melts. Kent 435 Posted January 23, 2005 quote:Originally posted by AGCO918 That tractor sure has been taken care. Thanks Chad. Yes, that's why I'm so thankful to StanD and his son... both for the chance to buy it, and for taking such good care of it (Stan's son bought it as a one-owner). As my original post back in the summer said "it is definitely worth the drive" out to Wisconsin to haul it back...

Eli 0 Posted January 24, 2005 Thank-you everybody! One day when I was walking home from school after we were pounded with a huge rain storm, I saw the "pud muddle" and I thought I should take some pictures to show my Geography teacher because at the time, we were studying the climate of our area (humid continental). So I took some pictures and I never got around to printing them out and yesterday my dad came across them because I took it with a digital and he posted them. Eli 0 Posted January 25, 2005 You only get red x's because, after the site was down it used a backup copy of the pictures on the site from Saturday but I posted these pictures on Sunday so they were lost and I have to reupload them onto the article (which I will do in about 2 or 3 hours). dirtsaver 1 Posted January 25, 2005 Eli I'm really impressed with your photos. It looks to me like you have the beginnings of a super neat calendar. I suggest saving you better shots to disc and maybe even entering the very best ones in some of the photo contests. Some of the magizines like "Country" might even publish the one of the pud muddle.
