10HorseMan 0 Posted January 28, 2005 I've been thinking of taking a 2 cyl Duetz diesel and transplanting it into my B-110. Anyone ever attempted this. The engine that may be going in has less than 5 hrs on it. As for my restoration project I am on hold while I recover from an illness. So far so good, the sandblaster done an excellent job, and got about 85 percent primed, if I feel like it I might get back at it tomorrow.

Ronald Hribar 91 Posted January 28, 2005 What is diesel from? Is it aircooled? I would like about a 26 hp diesel for my 616 , think i would like it watercooled to grt away from cooling problems
AC808 0 Posted January 28, 2005 Im giving some serious thought to a similar plan...I have leads on several Yanmar and Kubota motors...SHould know more by next week... Oh yeah...get better...:-)
10HorseMan 0 Posted January 28, 2005 This engine is from a 12.5 K.W. generator. It's air cooled. Well today I was on doctors orders to stay away from school today, I just had to go out to the shop and do some painting. All I like is the yellow and then it'l be time to put it back together. Back to the subject I need to go look at this engine to see if I can bolt it to the flywheel like the briggs is. I think the diesel is the way to go, better fuel economy, good power.
