UCD Posted February 2, 2005 Posted February 2, 2005 Great pictures mike. Say hi to Jake for me and Ann
oldone Posted February 2, 2005 Posted February 2, 2005 Nice pictures Mike, find an old car hood they make a good sled. Thats the sled I used when I was a kid, but it was a little heavy to pull up the hill! John
D-17_Dave Posted February 2, 2005 Posted February 2, 2005 Out of all the things you can do with an old tracto, that looks like about as much fun as anything I could think of.Great pics.
comet66 Posted February 2, 2005 Posted February 2, 2005 Great Fun, and Great Pictures Mike!!! When I was in College in San Diego, we used to drive my old Studebaker into the mountains and unbolt the hood, pull it up the hill, and use it for a snow sled. Fit four adults easily. Thanks Mike.
Killer_A-C Posted February 2, 2005 Posted February 2, 2005 I done the same thing Sunday.Pulled Hannah and Wesley around the yard on the trusty ol' B210.
10HorseMan Posted February 2, 2005 Posted February 2, 2005 Looks like there having lots of fun with the sled and tractor
msiebern Posted February 2, 2005 Posted February 2, 2005 Great fun! Thought about the car hood scene from Marty Stauffer's Wild America where the older brothers were dragging the little brother around on a car hood behind a truck during a race. :) Fun on the farm ... before my neighbor and I were old enough to get our license, we used our garden tractors for everything out in the country. We had a 700 Simp and he had a Wheel Horse. We used them to "drive" to each others farms (A little over 1/2 mile down the road). We each had homemade trailers for them and we filled them with our pup tents, sleeping bags, grub, and all the supplies and head off to the woods for camping. There were a couple of summers where we weren't seen without our tractors!
MDB Posted February 3, 2005 Author Posted February 3, 2005 Thanks for all of the nice replies. It was hard to get the kids to come back in the house they were having so much fun, burnt up a whole tank of gas and them some....fun, fun, fun:D:D:D Maynard, Jake and Nichole told me to say hi to Ann and you.
