Engine Number

I cannot find the engine number anywhere on my Landlord 2110 10hp. Although it is not of great importance right now, I would like to know what it is for future reference. Any pointers or ideas? Thanks,

Model number should be a 243431... can't remember the type # though...

If it's an OEM engine the number should be stamped on the LH side of the shroud. There could be two problems. The number is VERY lightly stamped. Sometimes you have to sand the paint and/or rust off the shroud to read it. On some tractors the area where the numbers are stamped is hidden behind the tractor frame and you have to remove the engine to read it.

I have a landlord 2110 and my engine is a 243431 and the Type is 0520-01. Hope this helps.

If engine is original 10HP, the model as Kent said is 243431 and the type # should be 0123-01. I will double check this later.

If it is original,which mine is ,it should be A 1968 model Manf. # 432 Discription 2110 - 10 HP Engine model 243431 Engine type 012301 Using the tech pubs,you would put in as a model # 990432 if manual and,990433 if hydro And you deck is most likely a 403,which you wou;d look up as # 990403 Happy Hunting Pete.

Thanks for the replies fellas. I knew the model number for the tractor is 432, but what I lack is the engine model and type. I'm not certain if it's the original mill or not. I suspect it is though. I will have a look in the link dutch posted. TIA

I just looked in the link and the information listed is "1968 432 2110 - 10 HP 243431 0123-01", just as some of you mentioned. I'm still navigating around the site. I haven't discovered all the features yet. Thanks again all.
