maxtorman1234 Posted February 5, 2005 Posted February 5, 2005 I was wondering if somebody could tell me the length of the belt required to run my 36" tiller off of my 310. I looked but did not find anything, Thanks,
gregc Posted February 5, 2005 Posted February 5, 2005 Tiller drive belt #105340, 96.1" long, HB belt.
Brent_Baumer Posted February 5, 2005 Posted February 5, 2005 Careful, that is the tiller belt for the 700/900 series AC's and 3400/7000/7100 Sims. Greg may be absolutely correct, just thought it was a little too coincidental beings how the 300/400 series AC's have significant differences from the other series. Again, Greg may be right, I'd just double check it. No offense Greg. Brent
gregc Posted February 5, 2005 Posted February 5, 2005 None taken Brent. Everyone should always double check information given. This part number was taken from the 2005 edition of the Belt & Blade Ready Refefence.
maxtorman1234 Posted February 5, 2005 Author Posted February 5, 2005 Thanks, The belt I have now is for a 700, and is a couple inches short for the 310. I don't know where to find the proper length that this belt should be.
StanD Posted February 5, 2005 Posted February 5, 2005 Original AC# is 2027624 & cross matches to Simp. 105340 I came up with this doing a google search that crossed to a Stens number. They sure are spendy but will last for years. Stan
gregc Posted February 5, 2005 Posted February 5, 2005 Graham, Stan has confirmed that the Simplicity Part No. is 105340 for the belt that you need . Look in these tables and they will show that the belt is 96.1" long and is an HB crossection: http://www.simpletractors.com/parts/belts/belts_(pg_16).htm http://www.simpletractors.com/parts/belts/belts_(pg18).htm
