JJ MARSHALL Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005 i know there has topics about ignition module that replaces the points and condenser on the B&S cast iron engines. has anyone tryed the ATOM COMPUTER IGNITION MODULE from NAPA ? JJ
Dutch Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005 Sounds like the "ATOM" is an ignition trigger. If so, they work great. Understand that a trigger only replaces the points & condensor NOT the armature (coil). If your armature is bad, you won't get any spark.
JJ MARSHALL Posted February 9, 2005 Author Posted February 9, 2005 THANKS DUTCH for the reply. when i first mounted the module i didn't have any spark . so i rereaded the instruction again . it tell you to change the 2 wires that you have already conected. guess i should have read all of the instruction before i started.
