MN_FISH Posted February 11, 2005 Posted February 11, 2005 We got this shed from my father-in-law being the price was right {Free}. I don’t remember the dimensions. It has an upstairs wood floor. Nice for storing little items. We loaded it on our tandem trailer with the brother-in-laws forklift. Lifted it on one end and backed the trailer under it. It was pretty wide coming down the highway being loaded sideways. To unload it we had to tip one end on the ground and lift one end so we could drive the trailer out from under it. Unfortunately the Legacy XL could only tip it to the ground. It couldn’t lift the one end up. Fired up the 720 and lo and behold it lifted it with no problem. I lifted it up with the loader under the 2x10 across the open doorway. It’s sitting in a temporary spot so we put cement blocks under it. Hope the wind doesn’t blow too hard? To be safe I set it down and used a loader on each side to lift it up to set the blocks down. If I lowered the 720 down to much the Legacy’s backend would start to come off the ground. The Legacy could hold it but not lift it by itself. It was a little touchy lowering it also with the Legacy. To bad the 720’s didn’t come with factory power steering & foot controlled hydro^:D. Should have taken some when it was loaded on the trailer also.
PhanDad Posted February 11, 2005 Posted February 11, 2005 Very interesting. Guess you can't beat the 'ol heavy metal tractors with the new stuff!
D-17_Dave Posted February 11, 2005 Posted February 11, 2005 Wayne, if not haveing power steering is a problem on your 720, just pawn it off on me. Somehow I'll make do.lol
Jason Posted February 11, 2005 Posted February 11, 2005 Hi Nice shed you got there! I also got to say that I really like your AC 720 with loader as well as the Legacy LX with the loader. They are both really nice tractors. Do you have any more pictures of your Legacy? If so could you please post them? Please and Thanks. Take Care Jason B
comet66 Posted February 12, 2005 Posted February 12, 2005 That's a nice building!! A few shelves on the sides, and you will be able to store a lot of parts, and still put a tractor in the middle.
FrankieC Posted February 12, 2005 Posted February 12, 2005 :) Very impressive! Great teamwork between the 5 of you. I can't think of a much harder thing to do than stop what you're working on to take pics. Thanks! By the way, where's your snow??? :D
SimpleMan Posted February 12, 2005 Posted February 12, 2005 I've never had opportunitiy to see a powermax in real. Seeing the two side by side gives a good idea as to the size of them. I always thought they were quite a bit bigger than that. You say the shed was free?:)...not bad at all.
AGCO918 Posted February 12, 2005 Posted February 12, 2005 Very sweet looking tractors.I think those are two very nice looking tractors.
MDB Posted February 13, 2005 Posted February 13, 2005 Great pics Wayne, Now that is what I call team work.^
TomMaryland Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 Hey that looks purty darn good! Great looking tractors too. If only I could get my wife to get on one....look at all the fun she's missing!
