Road Gear AC B110/112

Some of the bunkhouse boys wil be heading back from Texas soon on their classic, ultimate man's chick magnets, the AC B110/112's... And soon after, they'll head into town for the local Starbuck's to steal Harley chicks from them Harley boys... When you line up a vintage B110/B112 with it's cool, 60's retro, GTO hood scoop, next to a new Harley, in front of Starbuck's... -well, it's no contest -the B110/112 wins hands down, -or up, as you please... The chicks can't jump in the Allis B dump carts fast enough. Sometimes you get 2-3 of them back there, making so much noise, the boys fear for getting stopped, cause of 'disturbing the peace.' So...the idea came up, maybe, to speed things up a little, and get outta town faster. Is there any type of lower rev'in road or overdrive gear, or bigger tires??, to get maybe 10 MPH?? 8)

Sure Andy, modify some 15 inch chrome 12 in wide rims, raise the seat pan for clearance, and put some racing slicks on 'em babies.

Well Andy(S) Those B110-B112s with dump cart are a stylish looking chick magnet....:D But if you want the "ultimate mans" rig you'll be wanting an HB-112...:D

Ive had similar problems with my 101...Too many chicks wanting rides. I was thinking about the speed thing also... I may try the larger tires AND a smaller pulley on the side of the trans...10mph would be good, but id like 15 or more...!

Chicks especially dig the scent of exhaust mixed with fresh cut grass. Works even better than Aqua Velva or Old Spice...............

You guy's are thinking backwards. If you want quantity, then get a lowboy trailer and pull it with my 620. It's got 10mph, and that twin sound stock. heck, I haf ta keep it parked in the back of the shed just to keep the babes off of it durring the night so I can get some rest.lol

Now Greg, I've fixed RBT's but other than parts tractors you'll not find any such critter's here. If it were'nt for the fenders on my 620 makeing it somewhat difficult to get on and off, I'd probably take em RB off it. My shed's full o FDT's.lol

Hmmm thanks all! Marty-The bigger tires 15' rims-know of any makes where bolt pattern matches? AC8-The smaller pulley-maybe that'll help-a lot?? has this ever been done by anyone? Greg-Dave-FTB-RBT-we have a once a year run-off for the 'ultimate-man's-chick-magnet-machine'-judged by the Starbuck's babes... Mike-728 Broadmoors (used those for 25 years around here-to cut 2 acres weekly), 725's, Landlord's 63-on, 4000-6000's, have all won from time to time. (AC620's big $$$ out here-when and if, one can find them-so the fun and passion's often limited to smaller FDT's). Matter of what's out there to haul in reasonable $$ wise...never found/seen a HB112 out here yet-rare to see AC's. Often smaller Simps/AC's get into the $$$dollar range of the Farmall/JD-letter series tractors-so the bunkhouse boys go for those cause = 15 mph to town and a bigger dump cart for more chicks and hay rides. A rebuilt styled JD-A-church group 'on a mission from God,' from SE OHIO, drove it and pulled a house trailer, up to Alaska a few years back (was covered on the internet) made it up and back to Toledo before it blew.

Keep a quart of nitro with you at all times while driving the magnet When you see the chicks running towards you, pour some in the tank. Yes, you might reck the engine, but avoiding the subsequent problems with the wife will be worth every busted piston, rings, carb, muffler fire, towing ..........ect

OK, what's the story on this and where can I find it?

hey UCD thanks! I especially like the 'stocker look' pulley idea, although wheels are interesting. The chair (oldone) John, and lumber out front does limit-although I haven't started/compression tested this baby yet-hoping for points adj/carb, plug, or carboned head/sticky valves, rather than piston and rings dealer projected-"hard starting, he said, "may need..." (he hadn't been inside/checked out engine yet) peter-yes on the nitro-always helps! brent agreed, option 1 smells best! ;) John (Comet66) they did that JD-A trip maybe 6-8 years ago. I'll see what I can find in the archives here, and if they still have a site up-may have been a Mennonite Church-a husband and wife team did the actual driving to Alaska. Update: Ok there's even a book now Alaska on a tractor here's the link hope it works: www.milesformissions.org/The_Beginning/the_beginning.html In the old days, I read in a Farmall or JD book, in some western states, it was not unusual for a salesman to drive on the road and deliver a tractor, a state or two over. The M-Moline even made a U?? tractor that looked like a car-plowed by day-drove to town at night.

Andy, MM made a cabed tractor that had a road gear and even a chrome front bumper. It was glassed in with a slideing door on the rear of the cab. It had a heater and turn signals also. They were trying to fill a need for a dual purpose item. If the farmer had one of these they didn't need a truck or car, just a tractor. It was called the UDLX. U for MM ment universal, the dlx was of course deluxe. I'll try to dig up a pic for you later.

Thanks dave for the great explanation on the MM-UDLX -"u for, dlx ..." helps me remember. I have a pic of one. They are almost as cool as AC 620/720's-that look like Air Force?? F85 Saber Jets with long... cool... cowlings and intakes. Now there's an ultimate babe machine, I was just relating to 'Maxcountry.' Would love to find a 620 around here...even the B110/112's might not stand a chance with the Starbuck's chicks.
