skubbs Posted February 16, 2005 Posted February 16, 2005 I just want ya'll to know how much it means to have knowledgeable people, such as yourselves, willing to help a tractor novice, such as myself. It surely relieves much of the trepidation in purchasing an old fixer-upper, when I can ask for help from those who have 'been there, done that'. Thank you.
Al Posted February 16, 2005 Posted February 16, 2005 Hi, This is what life is all about, if we ever lose sight of that we all lose. Just remember when people think they have know all of the questions, they just haven't heard all of the questions. I doubt that there is anybody in this group that hasn't learned things from this group. I know I have.Al Eden
dhardin Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 skubbs thanks for your comment, and i agree hole heartedly. I have learned a lot from this Club over the years and hope to never stop learning from the group. Though we all be different from all different walks of life we all here have something in common. "A quest to repair, restore, modify and collect tractors of the past" Every one should ask all the question they want, and feel greatfull there is so many talents experenced people to help each other. We are all in this world together and I hope to leave a few restored tractors in my passing in this world. As you know we cant take then with us, but where I hope to go there all new tractors and not a green one in sight. Dan H
HubbardRA Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 I learn something new nearly every day from the guys on this site. In fact, I print many of the posts and keep a folder of them for future reference. It is about six inches thick. Think I will need a filing cabinet before long. I hate to ask the same question twice, although I have been known to do that a couple times.
firefoxz1 Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 Does this mean you got the A/C 916 wired and running?
skubbs Posted February 17, 2005 Author Posted February 17, 2005 The 916 is in the process of being brought up to speed, and the info gleaned here has been most helpful. I can't wait to put this little rig to work.
