My Winter Fleet

Heres a couple of shots showing my A-C B-210 and my 17GTH-L in winter dress. The B-210 has been in the family since 1971 and I got the 17GTH-L last year.

The tire chains on the 17GTH-L I "made" for $10.00. Home Depot had John Deere 23x9.50-12 tire chains for $5.00/pair. When I mounted them on the 23x10.50-12 tires I didn't like the gap between cross chains where the two ends are joined. So I took another set and removed two cross links and added them to the set I fitted to the tires. Now I have cross links every 2-links all around the tire except for one spot where the cross links are separated by 1-link. Not too bad for $10.00 and it sure beats spending $85.00 on a set.

That's a couple of great looking tractors. You should be ready for anything winter throws at you. The B-210 got a little red eye in the flash though. (she's still purdy)

Here she is with her eyes all a glow.

ACtually they are an old pair of amber fog lights that I had that fit perfectly after I removed the upper grille insert. They do a real good job at night when plowing snow.
