Brain Exercise

Looking around the grounds here I have a REal nice 611 Ac that needs an engine(which I have). Also see a early 90's Hydrostatic Broadmoor junked out but has a Good tranny. Exercising my brain as to performing a marriage and engineering a 611 Hydro.......along with foot controls.. Sound interseting? If I built the HB -116, how hard can this be?:D

Sam, its all whether you want the challenge. After the HB, Im sure you "can" ;) If memory serves, your talking vertical shaft tractors ? Is it worth the trouble? I tried swapping a standard H 3 speed into an inline 5 speed frame. The frames and mounts were just enough different, and the value so little in this area, I ended up scrapping both and selling the engine.

Not looking at it from a return on investment standpoint. They really don't sell well for me whole and parts don't hardly move at all from the stamped frame jobbers. Its just got such a nice original paint job I felt like saving the thing in some unique way. Besides I just remebered that this is the last tractor I got from my junker buddy Ken before he got hospitalized with cancer last summer. He died a couple of weeks ago. Makes it all the more worth my time to monkey around with it I guess, rather than junk it out....

In that case, Go for it! 8D I'd like to see it. It would be unique. I know my wife would like it, and my mother also. They both like to mow with the foot control hydro's. :D:D

Your just thinking about all that free time you'll have from not being president anymore and ways to spent it. Good luck and post pics.
