Deadeye Posted February 19, 2005 Posted February 19, 2005 Just got my new set of bar tires mounted and ready to go. I was looking at some items to buy and the guy had a Cub Cadet with this set of tires on it. The tractor was going to be parted out and I offered him $50 for the tires and wheels. Yippee! He took it and now I can really start to dig! They are 23 - 8.50 X 12, same as I had before in the lawn tread. How do you like them? They have some liquid ballast in them so should be good for plowing this spring.
mowerman1193 Posted February 19, 2005 Posted February 19, 2005 They look tough on there...Sounds like you did good for $50
AC808 Posted February 19, 2005 Posted February 19, 2005 wow...Great deal..did you get the weights with them also?
dirtsaver Posted February 19, 2005 Posted February 19, 2005 Dan you got one heck of a deal. Those sure look like industrial tires we put on construction tractors and skid-steer units. If so, I'd say they are between 8-12 ply rated and will hold up like steel. They might be really bumpy in cold weather though.
D-17_Dave Posted February 19, 2005 Posted February 19, 2005 Now you need a loader and a backhoe for it and you'd have the toughest 100 I'd know of. Looks great.
MPH Posted February 20, 2005 Posted February 20, 2005 What brand are them tires? I like the looks of them, remind me of the ones we had on a 1937 Case 'CC'.
jkmustang1 Posted February 20, 2005 Posted February 20, 2005 sweet makes the tractor look more than ever ready for what you can throw at it
comet66 Posted February 20, 2005 Posted February 20, 2005 Great deal!! I've not seen that tread patern on a garden tractor before, I like it.
