Ignition key wire - continued

I just wanted to thank you guys for the suggestions. With my work schedule right now I haven't had time to try anyhting yet. As far as the manual goes, it shows the wire and says "to breaker point box" and thats it. If anyone happens to have a camera in their hands at the time they are looking at their point box on their 23d engine, I sure would appreciate a picture of how this thing is connected. Thanks John

It connects to the same screw that the condenser and the wire from the mag connect to. Then when the switch is turned off, it shorts the points and stops the mag from firing.
