Almost all the lawn tractor companies used the same sized wheels on their tractors at one time or another. So it's not uncommon to se tire and weights and such external acc. interchange.

Those Bolens wheel weights are a nice item to have. Tried to buy some, but so far have been too pricy. They are the right amount of weight, by my liking, and allow clearance for the right axle hub. Two years ago I bought a set of cast iron weights from my local IH/Cub dealer. They are OK but the mounting bolt holes are not counter bored like the Bolens. More than once I have caught my leg on the bolt while wearing shorts. :( I wish I could find a set of Bolens weights locally. GregB Lancaster Co PA

I have found 2 sets of these Bolens cast weights, they are exactly 50lbs ea. I use body filler to fill in the Bolens logo, repaint and they look great. They fit perfect and do not stick out past the rim bead.

OK here's a little tip I've given out to a few close friends and this will likely ruin any chance of me finding another set of Bolens weights anywhere around here.... The hole in the center of the Bolens weights is just about big enough that if you use a "wobble drive" ratchet extension and a short socket, you can get the rear wheels off without removing the wheel weights.... So there, the secret is out now. Good luck with finding Bolens weights, I only ever found one set and I'm not giving it up....
