Ok, so I now feel a little stupid.......BUT!!!! Not with out a great big smile on my face ^:D^:D!!!!! After talking with a couple of you I thought what the hey.....I'll go take a CLOSER look at the old Walker. You be the judge....Note the poorly applied badly faded and chipping red paint. There's ORANGE under it!! And what does that mean? Means i've been sitting on a Simplicity Walker for 5 years and didnt know it. On to the pictures. Please comment and help me to confirm that it IS indeed a Simplicity Walker and what Model and approximate year it is. WOOHOOOOOO!! Something else to restore!!! At this rate i'll never get remarried :D

Dave.....That's the only reason I bought the unit to begin with. I had a beat ya to death front tine tiller to turn up a 30x 50 foot garden and it literally took me DAYS to get the ground ready to plant with that old thing. Then along came this walker with the tiller in tow. That's the only attachment I have for it.....so far.

The tiller wasnt even listed on Kents site that I could find anyway. It still may not be a Simp but it looks pretty close. Wheres Karl ?? Our resident walker expert :D Check out his site and compare to some of those. ;) Looks a lot like his FA http://www.simplicityva.com/

I will definately be researching it further to find out rokon. It's been a great addition regardless of it's origin but wouldnt it be sweet if it does turn out to be an old Simplicity Walker! Forgot to mention that it does what that old front tine tiller did in a mere 3 hours as opposed to the days.

Thanks Greg! I did some looking around and it does appear as though this may be an FA. And now I have another little bit of work to do. To check and see if it's actually a 6 speed. I suppose a manual on this would have helped eh? Thanks for the input!!

It is a simplicity walker more than likely a model F with a model 8 briggs engine.I have a few of the walkers with quite a few attachments,I do have 2 tillers for them but all of mine are the larger ones.I do use it in the garden (make sure you put that foot down) they do not beat you up like the front tine model .I put a model 14 engine on one of them for a little more power.Bob

Looks a lot like my Model F, it i had to bet, it would bet simplicity, based on shape of the handles and the gear shift, case, etc! Nice! Critch
