ehertzfeld Posted March 5, 2005 Posted March 5, 2005 I was doing some research on them and saw that they for the frist year they used a V belt to move the spout. Is the reason they only used it for a year, that it didn't work well or what? I am thinking of putting a window motor to angle mine. I have the small pulley for the belt on a blower, and was thinking of trying it to get the motor closer to the blower body. With the cable it will stick out like a foot or so. It mite be easyer to make a bracket if the motor is closer to the body. Any thoughts? Elon
wilm169 Posted March 5, 2005 Posted March 5, 2005 Elon I think if you find a pick of the kit you will see that they move it 5" closer to the shute. I have seen it posted in here.
ehertzfeld Posted March 5, 2005 Author Posted March 5, 2005 The distance I'm talking about is the motor to the blower body it self. Not the distance from the barrel to the spout. But thanks for the info. I'll have to look for the kit PDF. Elon
