916 up and running

The tractor is wired up, tuned up and fueled up. Runs real smooth, no smoke, goes from creeping to speeding like it was new. It'll do a fine job tilling and mowing. Well worth $100.00. I also got it with a garden plow. Has anyone plowed a garden with one of these? Seems like a lot of work for a little tractor. Also, would it be relatively simple to set up the tractor with a front-end loader? Thanks

Good job on the gettin' er done. It'll plow fine. If you beat and bang on it with a loader, that'll get hard on it.

I love the way my 917 plows . I put a chain on the left wheel. Really can turn lots of soil with it. Sounds like you got a real deal.

They plow well, I plow a clay garden, and it does it easy. You did real good, If its a kohler 16, you could easily get 600-800 for it.

I'm curious about those "plow days" When your all done playing with your plows, do you all break out the discs or leave it for the landowner to take care of?? [:0]
