Has anyone heard of Burns Tractors?

I never heard of them before. Does anyone have any info on them? Somebody informed me of one with a 9hp briggs and hydro lift. I can't find any info on them. John

I did a search on google and very little turned up. All I could find was sales brochure. Looks like a sears suburban.

we had one when I was a kid. the mortor set sideays and had two belts that drove the BGB

here are a couple of pics from the owner of the Burns tractor. I hope he doesnt mind me sharing them with you. I thought you would like the pics. He says the tranny doesnt disengage easily. Other than that no problems. I think it looks like it has controls for a Johnny buckey. I am trying to find out if it comes with one. Could be cool with a hydrolift and JB. BTW, Neat looking Tractor. What brand engine is that?

Nice looking tractor there.That is one i have never heard of.Looks like it is built pretty heavy.

9 hp briggs. Owner is asking me to make an offer. But I am downsizing mode right now???!?!!!BUT... i am trying to get more info on that attachments he has for it. Something for the front(JOHNNY BUCKET?????) and he mentioned forks????? looks like old wheelhorse wheels and tires on there.

My brother has two of them. They are fairly lightweight (about 480pounds without mower deck) compared to a Simplicity, Cub, & many other more common tractors. It uses the same basic rearend/transmission as the 110 J.D. with only 3 gears forward. I'm not sure of this next part, but I think they were built by Lampert & later on by Roper. Hope this helps! Dan

My first reaction said to but it if price was right. Then reality set in. I really need to get rid of stuff. Plus if the rear end or clutch is going how easy would it be to get it fixed??? Bottom line I am goign to pass on it. If anyone is interested I can forweard your information to the seller.
