What kind of deck is this

I found this deck yesturday and I've never seen this style. I'm not shure what kind it is and I was hopeing someone could shed some light on this. It is a right side discharge, has a tappered rear side and is very heavy gauge. The wheels on it don't belong so ignore them. I thought most simplicity decks had straight edges on them. SThis deck has B-series spindle in it and they appear to have bolted up without modification. But I know they aren't right. So what is it??

That's a funny looking deck, never seen one like it. It'd be neat to know what it fits. Some parts of it look like an allis, but the shape sure is different.

I believe that I saw a deck(shaped like that) like that on the front of a Gravely commercial tractor, but I am not sure. It mounted on the front, but there are a lot of parts missing from this one if it is Gravely. Sorry I can't find the picture. Benjamin Kassulke

The blades look similar to Powermax style but the cutting edge looks like they are for a left hand discharge. Are Sunstar blades like these? The rounded front does look like a Gravely but I think they are shaft drive.

I don't know what type of machine though.

Not sure about the newer stuff, but not the sun runner. A sun Runner deck looks to be tha same as the smaller lawn tractor decks, like 4211 etc. The top is embossed, not flat and smooth like that one. I've seen a lot of odd decks stripping out tractors, and thats a new one on me. Looks can be deceiving, how wide is that deck? I could give you a whole list of what I dont think it is, but that dont help [:0]

It looks to have a set of 48" left hand blades on it. It doesn't look like it was ever ran. It has a set of B-series spindles in it and that's why I grabbed it up. The homemade swivel wheels I can always use on something and as I said, it's a very stout deck. I picked it up with several bad engines and a few aluminum tanks and a snatch block all for 50 bucks. So I didn't think I could go wrong.lol just more stuff. Yea, like I needed more stuff.lol

It's not a Simplicity, and those aren't Simplicity arbors. The old B style spindles bolted to the deck with 3 bolts - that deck uses 4. Not sure what it is though. Later Simlicity decks use 6 bolts. Tim

Try finding a picture of an older big Jacobsen. I got a feeling you might find a match. The blades do look like Simplicity left hand discharge blades, they are definitly facing the wrong way for that deck.
