briggs model 19 engine mag

Has aybody come up with a good way of testing the mags on the model 19 engines. I have a few here that I am not sure if they are bad or not.Any tests for them? I know that when they get hot they tend to fail and cause all kinds of problems.I hate it when they don't start or start to miss when hot.Bob
