Synthetic Oil

What weight synthetic oil do you all use for summer? I just bought 10w30 Mobile 1, will that work or should I go to 10w40> Thanks!

I use Pennzoil synthetic in my Sovereign (TH 18) engine. Use 10w30 for summer, and 5w30 for winter. I guess in your case a question would be what are you running it in? Old, or newer equipment?

I use 10w30 synthetic in all my machines that don`t use oil. I called Briggs in the past and they said that it is a suitable replacement for straight 30w.

Good choice on your part. I use 10-30 Mobil 1.

I am with ikipp , GOOD choice. I use it in everything . Never had ant problems. Starts GOOD in the winter.

Use 5-30 Mobil 1 year round. Recommened by Service Mgr. at dealer.

I am running older machines a 3112v and a Homelite T-16, I went out and bought some straight Mobile 1 30 weight for summer use. We'll see how that works...
